About us

6-Directions was created by fitness trainer and former elite tennis player Nicolas Förderer, and entrepreneur and creative director Kenneth Bay. Two people with different backgrounds, one shared idea: that functional training deserved a better tool.

One tool. Six directions.

The result was the 6D™ Slider — designed and made in Denmark, and on the market since 2014. Built to train the way your body actually moves. Not just forward and back, but in all six directions.

More than a slider.

From there, we took it further. We developed 6D™ SLIDING — a full body exercise programme built entirely around the slider — and a certified education programme for fitness trainers and coaches who want to teach it. The programme can be expanded with a group training course, making it a practical addition for gyms, studios, and sports clubs alike.

Built to slide anywhere.

Since 2014, 6D™ SLIDING has found its way into fitness centres, sports clubs, rehabilitation studios, and living rooms across Europe. Athletes from tennis, football, skiing, martial arts, dance, and beyond use it as a core part of their training — not as a gimmick, but because it works.

The slider itself is compact, silent, and eco-friendly — antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and easy to take anywhere. It takes up almost no space, costs a fraction of most equipment, and delivers a full-body workout that challenges every fitness level.

We still care about every detail of the product. And we're still finding new directions to take functional training.
